Never thought it would come to this

I'm officially engaged to be married. Go figure. After five years together, cohabitation for 4 and half of them, and multiple conversations in which he said he never wanted to get married, bf went and poppped the question on Halloween night. To which I responsed, "Huh?" instead of the traditional yes or no. After a bit of confusion, I did say yes, and now I get to craft myself a wedding (or an elopetion, is that a word?), and I vow there will be no white dress, no giving away of me, and NO first dance. It's mine mine mine to make hurrah!
