Last summer harvest

I picked the last of the tomatoes and basil from my balcony garden on Wednesday. Then I took advantage and made a pizza with the harvest and whirled up some pesto to freeze for the winter duldrums.
I'll miss summer, but I can't wait for fall. I already made the first apple pie of the season on Wednesday, too!
